Thank you for voicing your concerns, we have had a private contractor come through and evaluate every road in the city. They used laser equipped vehicle to measure the (Pavement Condition Index (PCI) scoring which accounts for cracks, bumps, depressions, patching, potholes, weathering, etc.) to less technical (visual inspection, traffic loads, etc.).
Not one thing is the absolute determinant for which road is repaved next. When annual budgets are approved, the city determines which roadways should be included in the yearly paving project based on available funding and ratings. Roads are ranked against each based off scoring condition and repair costs for each are considered. However, based on your inquiry, we will send staff out to reevaluate the road condition, as well as check for any potholes and temporarily patch them if any is needed. We are also evaluating roads for the upcoming milling and resurfacing contact for the next upcoming years and will keep this one on our radar. This service request will be closed but we will send someone out to reconsider and schedule temporary patch work if needed until it can be resurfaced.. Thank you have a great day.
