    8500 Los Volcanes Rd Nw Albuquerque, NM, 87121, USA - Avalon
    On Monday, 8/28/23 @3:50pm, City Sun Van #1813 entered our private property (fully non-public) which is also fully posted to ensure the safety of our employees. The photo has the van directly in front of our main roll up door, blocking our ability to move heavy equipment in and out of the building to load our customers in this restricted loading area.
    The driver noted that she did not notice this to be private property and did not even see the important signage that helps protect our business and workers. Obviously a large vehicle traveling through a private area with heavy equipment and workers could easily cause serious damage and/or injury.
    This is only a couple of weeks than the last dangerous occurrence which still hasn't been resolved, case #230814-001514. We are just a block from the Daytona Transit Facility (COA), why do these drivers need to drive, park and speed through my business?

    Today, at 12:48, Sun Van #1222 trespassed through our private property double posted customer loading area. This could have caused a serious accident to say the least. Weight limit & vehicle limit signs are prominently posted and were ignored by this driver.

    Today, 5/11/23 at about 1:10pm, ABQ Rides bus #1412 drove thru our private property at well above safe speeds for a private, non public posted parking and loading area, from the end of Oliver Ross Dr thru our customer loading and parking area to Los Volcanes Rd NW. Aside from the dangerous speed today, buses and vans aren't supposed to be using private (and posted) private, non public property in the first place, especially as a "short cut".

    Today, 4/21/23 @10:22am, City SunVan #1502, drove towards my customer and myself while loading with industrial equipment on our non public private property. Note the driver drove straight through the posted driveway, "Wt. Limit 5 Tons" and "No Large Vehicles" signs as well as trespassing. This was very dangerous today, perhaps we should get NMSP involved, see if they need to issue citations?

    This morning, 11/21/22 at about 8:10am, ABQ city Sun Van #1519 stopped in the middle of our business driveway blocking our customer. In addition our commercial driver was unable to back up (you can see our truck behind the van, sorry upside down) despite repeated attempts to get van driver's attention so he and the rest of us could begin work. also noticeable the van blocked the entire entrance, curb to curb. Please note our private, not open to the public property is also restricted by 2 large posted signs at the entrance, 5 ton weight limit and no large vehicles. Should the NMSP be involved with the driver, this is at least 3 violations to be sure?

    Just now @3:45pm 3/14/22 Sun Van #1812 was blocking our private property driveway while our customer was honking to pull in off Los Volcanes Rd NW. Note 2 signs are directly behind where the van passed, weight limit & no large vehicles. I asked the driver why she was just sitting there doing nothing and explained she had to make phone calls - excuse me?! Please make sure this gets to upper levels etc., this agency is still out of control with their drivers on our posted private property.

    Our commercial bin has been missed twice in a row, last week 8/24 and this week. I witnessed solid waste vehicle #175603 @7:00am on Wed. 8/31 dump a Waste Mgmt. contract bin 2 businesses south of me in error instead of our bin. We need this rectified ASAP as garbage is piling up and may need 2 pickups to make up for the 2 missed ones. If possible please have someone @Solid Waste contact me.
    Address is 8500 Los Volcanes Rd NW, Suite A, bin is the FIRST one off Los Volcanes on the east side of the building with the number "91" spray painted by Solid Waste 3 years ago last time this happened.

    At 2:20pm today 8/22/22 Shuttle Bus 1226 sped through our customer area as a short cut through posted weight limit and vehicle size on private property from Bluewater Rd NW/Saul Bell Rd NW to Los Volcanes Rd NW. This continues to be incredibly dangerous besides obviously illegal, the high rate of speed made this especially reckless today.

    The morning of 7/20/22 @8:36am Sun Van 1213 drove through 2 restricting signs (wt limit & no large vehicles) and parked where we load our customers blocking them. The driver said the doors swung open and admitted he did not complete safety checks prior to leaving the bus yard to make sure the doors etc. were in driving condition, note the bus yard is just around the corner on Dakota. This endangered not only himself and the vehicle but our employees and customers as well. The drivers continue to use our posted & private property for vehicle checks, turn arounds & short cuts to Bluewater. This is serious and needs to be fixed once and for all, please also pass this on to a higher authority and may include contact with them and us.
    There is plenty of room in the center of Los Volcanes Rd to stop and complete safety checks that ultimately should have been done in the bus yard, no reason to block ABQ businesses.

    This morning @4:50am a fuel tanker truck belonging to Maverik gas stations was traveling at a high rate of speed east on Bluewater Rd NW passing Jimmy Carter Middle School. I've noticed in the last 2 days they've been using both Bluewater and Los Volcanes Rd (afternoon) as a shortcut between their 98th at Bluewater Rd NW gas station and their Unser at Los Volcanes Rd NW gas station. Unable at this time to take a photo due to speeding, please note both of these routes are residential and posted for no trucks & weight. The fact that this is fuel trucks next to homes and school is beyond why Maverik would do this.

    Today 3/24 @12:15pm shuttle bus #1228 used our private property as a short cut. This private, not open to the public property is busy with customers and this bus was moving quite rapidly through and past 2 signs, NO LARGE VEHICLES and WEIGHT LIMIT. This was dangerous as well as illegal.

    On the morning of Monday 12/13/21 bus #754 started to pull in to a restricted posted "weight limit 5 tons" and "no large vehicles" private driveway. I signaled to the driver not to as this is a customer and work area and could cause harm. The driver pulled in anyway and then attempted to turn around blocking the parking and loading area for several minutes. This could also damage the paved surface which is made for less than 5 ton vehicles. Please let me know what agency oversees the bus service as the admin there hasn't been able to keep buses, shuttles and ABQ Ride vehicles from endangering & trespassing on private property despite numerous notified violations.

    At the corner of Daytona Rd NW & Los Volcanes Rd NW the stop sign for Daytona Rd is almost completely covered with bushes as well as all the painted lines etc for the stop is completely faded away. This is a very high traffic corner with near misses everyday with the city bus yard and FedEx distribution hub using this intersection extensively. Also of concern during the school season this is a busy access point for Jimmy Carter Middle School.

    This is the 2nd ABQ truck involved with blocking our business entrance and loading area this morning at 7:40 am. Again this is in a clearly posted area as "no drive through, "customer parking only" and "no turn around" - for the safety of our employees while loading customers.

    This morning at 7:40 am 2 trucks pulled into a business loading area clearly posted for safety as "customer parking only", "no drive through" and "no turn around". In addition they parked in a way that blocked our entrance. I will turn in a separate request so I can show a photo of the other truck.

    City Sun Van #1228 entered a signed private loading area blocking my customer while loading them. As I said this area is restricted and clearly signed. I worry about the safety and welfare of both my customers and employees as this continues to happen.

    Our business has been denied full access due to city buses once again by blocking (using as a layover or sleeping) and parking across lined parking spaces, as well as blocking driveways and customer loading areas. In addition it is clearly marked with weight limits not to mention the exhaust fumes we must endure. Today was bus #1504, also this week buses #1204, #1232 and numerous others. It's almost as bad as before in previous complaints with these drivers acting like they don't care and are slow to move.

    Over the past months city buses have used our lot as a place to kill time when either early for their route or too early returning to the yard (just blocks away). We even see drivers sleeping on weekends. Aside from being a private business the entrances are clearly marked "5 Ton Weight Limit" and "Delivery Vehicles Only". We are in the process of resurfacing and striping which I'm sure is due to the multitude of buses (small & full size) over a period of time. On some mornings our main door was blocked and drivers slow to move or show obscene gestures. I have tried to address this nicely with the drivers giving assurances they would tell their supervisor which worked for a short time. But this has now started again and I am concerned for new damage and blocked access to our lot. I do have photos to support this statement if necessary but hopefully maybe a city contact with higher authority can address this matter with no further action.
